#29 assigned defect

specdomain: autospecdir and macro file match pattern

Reported by: jemian Owned by: jemian
Priority: minor Milestone:
Keywords: specdomain Cc:

Description (last modified by jemian)

Allow user to override default search for *.mac files. This should be a list of match patterns but a list is not implemented in the current code. Probably glob patterns since regexp patterns are harder for many to understand.

Also need a similar list to be excluded.

On shared directory systems when editing a macrofile.mac with Macintosh OS, the OS will leave a .macrofile.mac file in the same directory. This file should not be documented by autospecdir.

The current defaults (in effect) are:

match::

['*.mac', ]

exclude::

['.svn', ]

The default exclude (once implemented) should be expanded to:

exclude::

['.svn', '.*.mac', ]

In 1416:

refs #29: How can user define this SPEC macro pattern match string in conf.py? Perhaps as an option to a directive?
